From Torn to Thriving: Why I Started The Mompreneur Company

There’s a unique kind of exhaustion that comes with motherhood. Not just physical, but emotional and existential. It’s not just that we’re tired. It’s that we’re torn between the woman we used to be and the one we’re still becoming. That in-between space is where I found myself after I walked away from the agency I helped build after nearly 10 years. On the surface, I had the tools, the experience, and the track record. But internally, I was trying to make sense of who I was without the title, the team, or the grind I’d gotten so used to. I was still a mom, still a wife, still a leader, but I felt completely untethered from me.

That tension, the invisible weight so many of us carry, is exactly why I created The Mompreneur Company. Because I’ve lived that moment when your life shifts and you’re left wondering what comes next. Years before, I’d been laid off unexpectedly. Not long after, I found out I was pregnant with my second child. With rent due and a baby on the way, I started selling $500 websites just to maintain some level of income. I didn’t have a fancy plan or a runway. I had a need and a vision, and I was willing to figure it out along the way. I remember Googling business terms I didn’t understand, building branding decks between bouts of morning sickness and extreme exhaustion, and trying to convince myself I could do this, even when I felt like I couldn’t.

But what I remember most clearly is the absence of a space where I could just be. A space where I didn’t have to pretend to have it all together. Where I could be a mom and a builder. Where I could grow slowly and sustainably, without the pressure to perform or the guilt of choosing myself. That space didn’t exist, so I created it.

The Mompreneur Company is that space. It’s a safe, empowering space for moms who want more for themselves and their families. It’s not about hustle or perfection. It’s about alignment, clarity, and building something real and lasting. Through our framework—Mindset, Strategy, and Action—we help women reclaim their power and move from stuck to sustainable growth.

We start with Mindset, because before you can build a business, you have to believe in your ability to do so. We help moms get clear on what they want, untangle the stories that have held them back, and create a new mental foundation rooted in possibility, not perfection. This isn’t about “positive vibes only.” It’s about facing your doubts, understanding your patterns, and choosing to move forward with purpose.

From there, we move into Strategy, because dreaming without direction leads to frustration. We create products and services that teach you how to build a business that fits your real life. Not someone else’s version of success, but yours. We help you define your offers, understand your audience, and develop systems that support your goals and your peace of mind. No overwhelm. No fluff. Just practical, flexible strategy you can actually use.

Finally, we focus on Action, because clarity without movement won’t change your life. We help you implement what you’ve learned in small, meaningful steps. Whether it’s launching your first offer, setting up your schedule, or finally posting that thing you’ve been sitting on for weeks, we’re there to help you do the thing, with consistency and confidence. And because we understand your world, we build it all with space for grace, rest, and real life.

Every part of TMC is rooted in my own journey. It’s for the mom who’s tired but still dreaming. The one who’s doing her best with what she has, hoping it will be enough. The one who’s ready to grow but doesn’t want to lose herself in the process. If that’s you, you’re not alone. I built this for you. Because I was you. And in many ways, I still am.

The Mompreneur Company isn’t just a business—for me, it’s a movement. It’s for women navigating motherhood and ambition with courage, creativity, and care. It’s for those of us who believe that our dreams matter just as much as the people we care for. And it’s proof that you don’t have to choose between being a present mom and a powerful creator. You can be both. You already are.

So if you’re in that in-between place, feeling pulled in a dozen directions but still holding onto a spark of something more, I see you. You belong here.
